On the Night
Here are the start points and timings for the four processions. Give yourself time to get your lantern lit. Stewards have lighters and carry poles at each start point.
Ulverston Parish Church
- Assemble from 6.45pm
- Parade Begins - 7.20pm
- Arrives County Square - 7.59pm
Croftlands Community Centre
- Assemble from 6.45pm
- Parade Begins - 7.15pm
- Arrives County Square - 7.55pm
Auction Mart
- Assemble from 6.45pm
- Parade Begins - 7.25pm
- Arrives County Square - 7.56pm
Ellie's Garden Centre
- Assemble from 7.00pm
- Parade Begins - 7.35pm
- Arrives County Square - 8.00pm
Our four "rivers of light" start flowing into town from 7.15pm onwards. The coverage on County Square (outside The Coro) at about 8.00pm and head off to Ford Park along New Market Street, the bottom of Market Street, Union Street and Hart Street. Road Closures are in place in the town centre from 7pm - 10pm.
